Alex Kalomeris is an artist hailing from the foggy hills of Northern California. His work has been featured on TV, published in books, and shown in classrooms around the US. Alex now resides in Los Angeles where he has worked on animated series for companies such as Titmouse Inc., Starburns Ind., Augenblick Studios and VICE TV. He uses his passion for world building to bring stories to life through illustration and animation.

When not working in animation, Alex combines his love of art and nature to create illustrations for Mystery Science, an education company based in San Francisco.

Alex draws from his adoration and curiosity for the natural world. Traveling and recording what he sees, he takes in his experiences and imbues them with pen and ink.

When not in his studio, he can be found wandering the hiking trails of Los Angeles, foraging mushrooms or deep in a dungeon playing D&D.
